I got married on Aug 15th and we sent it out that Monday certified mail. We checked the tracking and it said they got it. the moment it is registered it is an authority and your are legally wedded. the certificate will be issued in 4 weeks normally and we will have to wait. How long does it take before you get your marriage certificate?
It takes about ten days.
