Do you ever talk about marriage with your significant others?

This question is open to all ages. Do you ever talk about marriage, or the future of your relationship with your significant other? If so, how long were you in the relationship before you felt comfortable in addressing these things?Do you ever talk about marriage with your significant others?

My husband and I talk about our marriage with each other and say how much we love each other quite frequently. We have been married for over 19 years and it seems very easy at this point to be very open and honest. I think it took about 5-10 years to finally get to the point where we felt completely comfortable with talking about our marriage. We were young 21 and 25 when we were first married and had to grow up to the point where we were comfortable with completly open and honest converstation.
All the time, wanna know the worst part? we're in our teens, and he is 3 years older than me, but thats one of our main topics.


We're 5 months into our relationship, not too long, so normally talking about marriage is crazy, especially pertaining to our age, But he's heard from many of his teachers that the more you talk about it, the better of a chance there is, as long as the feeling is mutual. We've only been talking about it for about a month, but lately we're just constantly telling each other what we imagine our future will be like. and we always say, 10 years and we'll be married.


but as long as the feeling is mutual, then i honestly do not see anything wrong with talking about it.
Yeah i think it's important to discuss the future with your partner.





I know when i'm getting proposed too (yeah it ain't gonna be a surprise he already told me) and I know how we are getting married. We've already discussed everything.

well considering we are engaged, id say yes. but things did happen really fast with us. we were only together for 2 months when we started talking about the future and 4 months when we got engaged. its been almost ten months now and the wedding is set for next july :)
yes I do it! and we both started talking about it when we realized we were meant to be :) when we were going out for like 6 months. we still do and i defo think he is my partner for life :). we have been going out for a year now!
If you are not talking about your future with your 'significant other' then you are a fool to be wasting either of your's time!
We talk about our love for each other everyday, and always make new plans for our future.
