My fiance and I are planning on having our wedding ceremony in Mexico. However, to avoid the rules and blood work associated with getting married in Mexico, we are going to be legally married in our province before we go. The city hall does not have a marriage commissioner on duty to perform the marriage. What is the best way to select a marriage commission for a simple and straight forward marriage? How do you select a marriage commissioner for a simple ceremony?
You could still have a pastor or priest marry you. I have a friend who had a priest marry her and her husband within 2 weeks of speaking to him, no marriage sessions or anything. However you can have someone get certified over the internet if your tied for time. Sounds kinda cheesey but it still makes it legal. How do you select a marriage commissioner for a simple ceremony?
Me and my husband just had a mayor of a local town do it. It only cost $25 and was super quick.
