I just got married about 10 days ago and I need to change my name. I am unable to change my name without the marriage certificate. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to receive one? Is it automatically mailed to my house? Or do I have to request one?How long does it take to receive a marriage certificate in new york city?
I got married on 9/4/09 and i received it on the same day i got married.
